Every few years here in northern Vermont we have an occurrence of what we call a "snowliage". This is where we get a few inches of snow while there is still a lot of colorful fall foliage on the trees. These are great opportunities for a photographer to capture rare beauty. Here a small heard of belted galloway cow are framed by a snowliage scene.
Most photos I take are from the "Northeast Kingdom" of Vermont (where I live). From broad landscapes to intimate close-ups of nature. This part of Vermont is known for its scenic natural and bucolic beauty. This drives me to be creative and unique with my work in the hope it holds the viewer's interest.
