The peak of this annular solar eclipse occurred at 5:30am in northern Vermont. I had carefully researched the location from which to capture the summit of Burke Mountain in the foreground as the partially eclipsed sun rose behind it. A variable layer of high clouds made capturing a perfectly clear shot impossible. However I was able to get this shot which still has a very interesting mood to it.
Most photos I take are from the "Northeast Kingdom" of Vermont (where I live). From broad landscapes to intimate close-ups of nature. This part of Vermont is known for its scenic natural and bucolic beauty. This drives me to be creative and unique with my work in the hope it holds the viewer's interest.
