A beautiful cold late winter afternoon in northern Vermont can lead to interesting atmospheric weather formations. Here a great sun halo created by high altitude ice crystal clouds provides a fire in contrast to the icy landscape. Here you can see a rare Circumzenithal Arc above the main halo.
